Established in 1929 we our proud of our hunting heritage and proud to participate in that which our forefathers have so generously created and nurtured throughout the years. We are a camp that currently consists of 19 members from diverse backgrounds and all over Pennsylvania.

We are quite proud of our hunting heritage that previous members have built and we continue to uphold year after year. Having been founded in 1929, GSL is mostly focused on the rifle season and as a member of GSL it is expected and required to attend the first week of the Pennsylvania Rifle Season to help perform drives. Obviously work and family matters come first and exceptions can be made but it is expected that members hunt as much as they are able during the week in order to help the camp be successful.

On top of the opportunity to harvest mature PA whitetails, GSL also has Turkey, Bear, Predators, and numerous small game species. While we have no organized hunting for these other species members are always welcome to use premises as they so please.
Work & Fun Weekends

To complete all of the tasks necessary in order to prepare for hunting season we hold numerous work weekends a year to check tree stands, cut shooting lanes, manage food plots, put out minerals, cut firewood, perform necessary camp maintenance and other tasks. There are (4) work weekends and they are held in March, April, July and September. We also have plenty of fun as a camp. We have two weekends a year that are “fun” weekends. These are in January and June. On top of those weekends we also have a muzzleloader/archery weekend in October where we hunt Does to manage the herd and Bucks in the border areas.

Camp Property
- Gravel Spring Lodge owns approximately 1350 of Pennsylvania woodland. Consisting mostly of a mix of deciduous hardwoods and a variety of evergreens and other ground cover.
- Bordering the camps land is an additional 200 acres owned by camp members.
